This one-year course focuses on the complete training of students from basic electric circuits and transformer winding of different types of electrical motors. The main job opportunities in rural India are from agricultural industry, where Irrigation pumps are the most important equipment used for agriculture.
On successful completion of the course, students find job opportunities in electrical & agriculture industries. It also opens avenues for self-employment in rural India.
Course Content
• Basics of electricity - circuits, transformer
• Winding of machines - D.C. Machines, types of D.C. Machines
• Study of single phase and three phase motors
• Repairing of electrical domestic appliances - fan, iron, and mixer
• Safety precautions
Eligibility
The course is open to male students in the age group of 16 to 30 years with a minimum qualification of VII grade.
