RULES AND REGULATIONS (नियमावली)
1. Duration of the course : 1 year full time
2. Age : 16 and above.
3. Admission is limited to a maximum of 15 candidates per course.
4. Hostel facilities available only for male candidates from outside Mumbai.
5. Female candidates can be admitted as day scholars for all courses other than Turner operator course.
6. The progress of those admitted to the course will be watched for a period of three months and those with poor performance will be discharged from training course.
7. Day Scholars should make their own arrangements for stay in Mumbai and travel independently to the workshop.
8. Trainees will be entitled to stipend based on the monthly attendance.
9. Day Scholars will be eligible for a conveyance allowance on actual attendance subject to minimum 20 days.
10. Minimum 80% attendance is necessary for appearing for examination.
11. Management does not take any responsibility to find jobs for successful trainees. However Placement committee of NAB, will assist trainees to the extend possible.
12. Trainees are expected to maintain strict discipline, punctuality and observe to the rules and regulations in force from time to time.
13. Trainees are liable to be discharged from the workshop for acts of indiscipline, misconduct of other offences and defaults. Management decision in the matter shall be final and binding.
14. Trainees shall not take part in any unlawful activities, meeting of any illegal organizations, or indulge in activities contrary to the rules and regulations in force.
15. No damage shall be done to any part of building apparatus, equipments or any other property belonging to the workshop. Any damage caused and the loss incurred will be recoverable from the trainees or from their parents/guardians.
16. Trainees must be regular in attendance and attend morning and evening roll calls and carry out their duties according to the daily time table. If any trainee is found not punctual or irregular, he is liable to be discharged without giving any notice.
17. Trainees are not allowed to go outside the premises of the workshop without prior permission of the Warden/ Management of the workshop.
18. Special attention should be paid to cleanliness and hygiene. Trainees are required to dress properly and should be present for regular health check up which are carried out from time to time.
19. Extra curricular activities like sports, debates, musical evenings, dramatic performances, folk dances, outing, games, and team competitions etc., are organized for the benefit of trainees.
20. Trainees must attend lectures/workshops organized on various subjects organized for their benefit.
21. Picnics, excursions and visits to interesting places may be arranged as and when possible.
22. Course will be conducted on all working days and working hours will be from 8.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m. with half an hour lunch break between 12.15 p.m to 12.45 p.m and evening tea break between 3.15 p.m to 3.30 p.m.
23. Only vegetarian food will be served in the hostel.
24. Day scholars will be entitled to free morning tea, lunch and evening tea.
25. Trainees should vacate hostel during vacation (Diwali)
26. Trainees are not allowed to undergo any other course during the training period.
